GENERAL MAINTENANCE GUIDE

It is important to maintain your scooter for better performance and maximum efficiency. This guide will help you to keep you riding your e-scooter safely.

IMPORTANT

Your e-scooter needs a quick maintenance check every 2 to 4 weeks, depending on how you ride it. The following are the key sections which needs to be checked:

  • Disc brakes

Check the gap between disc and braking pads. Adjust it if gap is bigger than 1mm. You can adjust the disc pad from the screw attached with a brake handle or disc brake. Use a disc brake cleaner for better performance.

  • Tire

Check the air pressure and do not exceed the limit provided in user guide. It is also written on the tire as well.

  • Folding

Make sure the folding is tight all the time and it is not loose.

  • Handle bar screws

Do not tighten or loosen the folding screw unless it is needed for maintenance.

  • Charging port

Make sure all screws are tight and there is no screw missing. Use lock tight if they keep coming loose.
Make sure to close the charging port cover after charging.

  • Maintenance every 3 months

    1) Change the brake pads.
    2) Add screw tightly on both wheel knobs.
    3) Tighten the disc plate screws and check if the disc plate is straight/not bent.
    4) Lubricate and clean wheel bearings.
    5) Tight all screws and apply thread lock on folding screw after adjustment
( if required) 6) Check the deck screws and make sure it is completely sealed.
    7) Clean mud guards and check the rear foot brake pad.
    8)Change them if necessary.
    9)Lubricate the throttle (if required)

  • Maintenance after 6 months

    1) Change the disc brake wire worn out due to dust and constant use, as it can get stuck and will affect braking.
2)Check the tires. Change if necessary.
    3) Check the charger and battery voltage.
4)Follow the maintenance procedure discussed earlier.

  • Maintenance after 1 year

    1) Change the wheel knobs and screws.
    2) Change motor and rotor screws (if necessary)
    3)Change tire
    4)Change disk brake
